About DPC
A family business that builds backyards.
DPC Pool & Spa Construction has been designing and building custom pools in Southern California since 2001. We’re family-owned, based in Menifee, run by Miguel Santillan, and licensed by the state as Dream Pools Construction (license #791743).
Our story
We treat clients like an extension of our family — which mostly means we listen, show up, and finish what we start.
DPC builds custom inground pools and spas for families across Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange counties and North County San Diego. Over the years that’s grown into the rest of the backyard too: remodels and repairs, outdoor kitchens, patios and decking, fireplaces, putting greens, retaining walls, and landscaping.
Our team lives in the communities we build in. We take a personal approach to every project, keep you involved at each stage of the design and build, and care about the details you’ll notice every day — the step you sit on, the tile at the waterline, the light on the water at night.
What you can count on
Three things clients mention most.
A fair price
“The price was very fair and I’m very satisfied with the work.” A clear estimate before any work starts.
A crew that works
“True professionals and extremely hardworking.” Respectful in your yard, careful with the details.
Answers along the way
“All my questions were answered throughout the process of completing my pool.” You’ll know what’s happening and what comes next.
How it works
Four steps from dirt to first swim.
-
01
Walk the yard
Miguel comes out, looks at the space, and listens: how you want to use it, what you’ve seen that you like, and the budget you have in mind. The estimate is free.
-
02
Design it
We turn that into a layout — pool shape, spa, features, decking, and everything around it — and adjust it with you until it’s right.
-
03
Build it
Our crew builds it — shell, stone, tile, decking, and the details — and you’ll always know who’s in your yard and what happens next.
-
04
First swim
Water in, equipment running, and a walkthrough of how everything works before we call it done.

Questions
About working with us.
How long has DPC been building pools?
Since 2001, when Miguel’s contractor license was issued. We’re a family-owned company, and our crew lives in the same communities we build in.
Are you licensed?
Yes. DPC is licensed by the California Contractors State License Board as Dream Pools Construction, license #791743, including the C-53 swimming pool classification. The license is bonded and carries workers’ compensation insurance, and you can look it up on the CSLB website.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. We come out, walk the yard with you, talk through what you want and roughly what you want to spend, and follow up with an estimate. There’s no charge and no obligation.
What areas do you serve?
We’re based in Menifee and build across Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange counties, North County San Diego from Poway up to Fallbrook, and the San Gabriel Valley. That includes Murrieta, Temecula, Lake Elsinore, Corona, Eastvale, Chino, Rancho Cucamonga, Yorba Linda, Irvine, Escondido, Vista, and Diamond Bar. Not on the list? Call; we’re happy to take a look.
Can you design the whole backyard, not just the pool?
Yes. Besides pools and spas we build outdoor kitchens, patio covers and pergolas, fire features, hardscape, retaining walls, landscaping, and fencing — so the whole yard can be planned and built as one project.
Let’s walk your yard.
Tell us what you’re picturing. Miguel will come out, look at the space, and put together a free estimate.
